This large ring was inspired by medieval knight armor.

I included the same sword-cross motif that can be found on all of the Armored collection.

When creating this piece I wanted to make sure to have many of the design elements flow seamlessly with the ring band, and also balance each other from top to bottom.

I added the recessed cross holes on the front of the ring, much like you would find on an actual knight helmet at the time. I also decided to blacken those parts of the silver which really helps it look authentic and adds visual interest to the piece.

A big decision was not to hollow out the inside, this gives it a more substantial feeling. When you slide it on your finger it really feels like you're equipping a piece of armor.
