Inspired by the signet ring that was passed down through our family. A powerful and bold design, cast in solid sterling silver. Featuring a historical wyvern emblem on a large oxidized head - with a wide polished border surrounding the beast. A signet ring is traditionally worn on the pinky finger, although any finger is acceptable.
The wyvern is an emblem that is believed to have originated in Wessex (modern day Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset) and was worn by the nobility throughout the South West of England. The wyvern has also been associated with Leicester since the Medieval period. The Welsh Dragon is also believed to have originally been a red wyvern which was modified over time into a dragon.
